32 Degrees

The bay below our house is a wonderful place to swim on a day when temperatures soared towards new records, but there are....

....creatures lurking in the depths which have to be avoided - not that moon jellyfish have a nasty sting, though encountering one isn't pleasant.  So the Diary is sent out....

....in a kayak to scout the waters for any real nasties, like a lion's mane jellyfish, of which there are a few around this year.  But, once the bay has been declared safe for swimming, a paddle along the coast sometimes yields useful flotsam, like a fish box washed up in a bay which will go up into the vegetable garden.
