Sunrise this morning came just before eight, with the sun now coming up over Morvern on its way southwards for the winter.
It was the start of a truly beautiful autumn day, with the temperature at midday soaring to a summertime 19C. Little wonder our semi-tame robin found cause to sit on the weathervane and sing his head off.
Despite the balmy temperature, we could only find one butterfly out, a red admiral making good use of the abundance of flowers on the escallonia.
Indeed, it seemed to be a lovely day! Lovely photos.
ReplyDeleteWe've had pouring rain last couple of days here in Finland.
