"As many of you will already know, the Press & Journal's community minibus has been won by the Hopeman Community in Moray. Our congratulations go to them.
"However, I would like to say "thank you" to all of you who were kind enough to spend many weeks cutting out daily tokens, (tedious!), and to those who wrote so well in the Application Forms, including the children in the School. We collected just over 750 tokens, and were able to send 15 applications with 50 tokens each, just missing 16 applications. Brilliant, considering only a handful of people here get the P&J, though many more of you got them elsewhere.
