These pictures are from Chris Gane who skippered the rescue boat on both days of Regatta so was in an ideal position to watch events unfold. The first is from Thursday's sailing race, shortly after the start, when the yachts were all becalmed.
This picture is from Friday's yacht race, with Geoff Campbell's boat leading the race out of Kilchoan Bay.
As well as the Tobermory lifeboat, we had a visit from the
Eala Bhan, the Isle of Mull skiff, a
St Ayle's skiff.
These are the eventual winners of the Raft Race. While the boat mentioned yesterday was excluded from a position, it did win 'best dressed boat'.
