Helicopter Visit

The helicopter that came low across the village yesterday at about a quarter to three landed in the open space by Shore Cottage in front of the shop.  It came in to take fuel - not from the filling station but from drums brought along the peninsula.

The machine had been working over on Mull and it was cheaper to fly it across to the mainland to refuel rather than take the fuel across by ferry to Mull.

Many thanks to Hughie for the information.

Information costs....  The Diary was obliged to stop and admire Betsy's previous litter, now strapping young things waiting for a good home - in someone's freezer.
