Storm Warnings

This is the Yr.No forecast for Kilchoan for the early hours of tomorrow morning - 27m/s is storm force 10, while the BBC is forecasting winds of 42mph, force 8, with an amber weather warning.  We've had high winds almost every day since Thursday of last week, and there's little sign of a let-up, with yet another gale forecast for the early hours of Friday.

The Yeoman Bridge, pictured here in July, has just passed us heading northwest out of the Sound of Mull in what are already gale-force winds and driving rain.  Tiree is forecast violent storm, with winds of 31 m/s, force 11, by 1.00am tomorrow morning.  It'll be a lively night on board for her crew.
