Dawn This Morning

For the benefit of those of us who were peacefully asleep at 4.30 this morning, Kilchoan Early Bird popped down to the slipway by the Ferry Stores to take some pictures, this one of Ben Hiant at the right and Glas Bheinn at the left.

A few minutes later he took this super picture of the moment the sun appeared across the ridge that runs to the left of Ben Hiant's peak, Beinn na h-Urchrach.

Dawn is probably the best time of day, when it's still fresh and clean and new.  The lazy amongst us, like the Diary, have to wait until October to appreciate this, when dawn is around the normal time for getting up.  Many thanks to Kilchoan Early Bird for reminding us of what we miss.
