Superyacht 'Eos'

Many thanks to Justin Cameron for these pictures, taken this morning off Mingary Castle. She was one of two ships anchored there, one of which was the Hebridean Princess (see yesterday's post). However, this magnificent yacht wasn't recorded on the Ships AIS site.

She's the Eos, a 92 metre superyacht owned by American businessman Barry Diller, who was creator of Fox Broadcasting Company and is involved with several other well-known companies.

    Interesting, I think I saw this at Port Ellen, Islay, last week, too. I couldn't look it up at the time due to a lack of internet (however the lack of AIS info would have likely scuppered me anyway). It's fascinating to see how these things get around.
