Special thanks to Rachael for going in to work on Saturday to post an apology that there was no Diary entry because of problems with the internet.

We had lost our 'phone signal on Friday afternoon, and were told that it would be Wednesday before BT, the telephone company, could repair it. In the event, it was back today, Sunday.

We are one of several households who have been affected recently. BT vans are here every day at the moment, including Sundays. So, a special 'thank you' to the engineers for their hard work - it's amazing how lost one feels without the internet connection.
