We are incredibly fortunate to live in a house which is perched high above the northern end of the Sound of Mull, not only because there are such superb views - this is dawn this morning, around half past seven - but also because....
....unless the weather has clamped down there is always something to watch. This is our lunchtime entertainment, our notice drawn to it by the passing yacht, the
Silurian, a yacht not being something one expects in November. No, the entertainment, which could have turned rather serious if the weather hadn't been so kind, was the two RIBs, the one on the right having broken down, the one on the left providing a tow.
