The Northern Lighthouse Board's Pharos came up the Sound just before two this afternoon, moving through one of the wintery showers which have continued through the day. However, in between them, the sun has been out and the temperature has soared to a heady 10C.
The snow-covered mountain is Beinn Talaidh, 761m, on Mull.
I don't think you are being entirely straight with us regarding the temperature Jon, we all know that Portuairk has been basking in 30+ all week and even now is 20+ ...
