It snowed during the night, settling above the 250m contour so the grassy patches between the forestry on the summit of Beinn nan Losgann were white and the road at the back of Ben Hiant was covered. It seems to be a symptom of a rather sudden descent into winter.
By afternoon low cloud carried in by the southeaster was bringing rain across the peninsula. This view from the shop looks across Lochan na Al to the Sound of Mull and, in the distance, Mull itself.
