Evening and Morning

The wind went round into the north yesterday, which brought us a day of warm sunshine and occasional showers.  This picture, taken at 6.30 yesterday evening, looks across Kilchoan Bay to Ben Hiant.  The last CalMac sailing from Tobermory is approaching Mingary Pier - but it's the Raasay, the much larger Loch Linnhe having been transferred to the Lochaline-Fishnish route after their ferry had to be withdrawn.  Word is that the Loch Linnhe will be away for ten days - hope it's back in toe for the busy bank holiday.

We woke this morning to find the Mary Manson, OB19, anchored just off the Ormsaigbeg shore.  The wind had dropped, with only catspaws moving across the calm, grey surface of the sea.
