Church Appeal

As many readers will know, the parish church in Kilchoan is in need of extensive repairs.  Considerable progress has already been made over the winter, with the west wing re-pointed and stabilised, but much more remains to be done.

As part of the fundraising effort, during the months of June to August volunteers will be serving scones/tea/coffee on a Wednesday afternoon in the church in aid of the restoration fund. To enable this, they are looking for small tables - card tables, gopak-type tables, or old tables that may be stored in sheds, garages, etc - that they can borrow for the three months.  They will be covered with cloths during use.  They are also on the lookout for a small amount of bunting and a blackboard for signage.

If you can help, please contact Joan Macpherson, Holly Cottage, phone number 510 743.

  1. Also in aid of Church funds, Richard and Sheila Houston are holding a Garden Open Day at Tom a Chadail, Glenborrodale, on Wednesday 28th May - details on the West Ardnamurchan News.
