Kilmory Sunset

Ritchie Dinnes writes, "This image is of the sun going down behind Muck. The summit of Hyskeir can just be seen to the left of the sun."

    The lighthouse is the highest point on the rocky islet of Hyskeir (39 mtrs). These silhouettes are more likely to be the Minch approach reference points...the summits Triuirebheinn and Stulaval on South Uist ...some distance further west ...surely ?
