The Buzzard

Each year, a pair of buzzards nest in the woodland on a croft a few hundred metres down the road. This year, they're suffering more harassment than ever from the local ravens and hooded crows, whose population seems to have increased. It may be because of this that, instead of perching on the top of the pine tree opposite our house as it used to, this one is using lower vantage points, such as our neighbour's gate post.
