The area around the fresh-water pool below our house is littered with the remains of the hunting expeditions of the three sea-going otters which are regular visitors. However, in this short video, one of the otters is seen eating something non-marine. It's very difficult to make out what it is except that it appears to be either a hedgehog or the young of a species - perhaps mink, pine marten or another otter.
Can anyone make a firm identification?
