These pictures come from the camera of The Raptor, who spotted this lone snow bunting feeding along the road which goes down to the Bay House at Swordle.

As far as The Diary knows, this is the first time a snow bunting has been seen at this end of the peninsula, although it's well within the area marked on the RSPB's map as the species' winter range - see website
here.
