Our daughter Elizabeth and husband Tom set off on time yesterday on their bid to ride from Lowestoft to Ardnamurchan Point in less than a week. So far it's been flat going, working their way through the lowlands of Suffolk, Norfolk and in to Lincolnshire.
They used a site called Strava to plan their route - see here for the first day - while today's ride to Lincoln will be the longest they'll do, at 115 miles.
All seems to have gone well except that Elizabeth managed to wash her Garmin in her cycle top - it survived.
Details about their ride, and the charity they're supporting, are here.
