It's called Kilchoan Sunshine, and we walk in it even on those days, like today, when the sky out of which it falls is low enough to reach up and touch.
This view looks from Ardnamurchan Estate land across Caim towards.... well, there are hills there, somewhere.
Even the sheep seemed surprised to see us. This ewe stood and watched us pass, and then turned to her lamb and suggested that, whatever life form we might be, we were probably from Mars.
The deer fences make good perches for the swallows, which, like Wendy, must be wishing they were back in Africa - see post below.
It may be wet, but there's always something interesting to see, like this heath spotted orchid which is running unusually late.
