The parade of ships associated with Exercise Joint Warrior continues. The SD Warden came past at about a quarter to six yesterday evening during one of the miserable periods of weather we had yesterday. She's operated by Serco Marine who describe her role as, "deployment and recovery of various weapons including torpedoes, mines and small boats, use of the Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV), bullet mooring and various range maintenance activities." There's a better picture of her here.
There's also been a fair amount of air activity, including this helicopter passing east-west across the village this morning and, around lunchtime, a small, low-flying jet that might have been a Lear Jet, but in military colours, flying southeast.
