Ardnamurchan Aurora Picture

Many thanks to Ewan Miles for allowing me to publish this picture.  Ewan, a keen photographer and wildlife enthusiast who works as a wildlife guide for Sealife Surveys on Mull, visited West Ardnamurchan over the weekend in good time to take this photograph of an aurora over the Ardnamurchan Point lighthouse on Sunday evening.

While on matters relating to the night sky, the Orionid meteorite shower is due next weekend, peaking in the early hours of Sunday 21st October.
