With a fine morning but the sun hidden behind high cloud, we took a short ramble along the Ormsaigbeg beach. The tide was falling, leaving behind its usual flotsam - seaweed, plastic boxes, lengths of driftwood plus a few of the sort of things old Ben Knox was referring to.
For a start, there was a creel with its buoy attached....
" Some hae meat and canna eat,
ReplyDeleteAnd some wad eat that want it;
But we hae meat, and we can eat,
Sae let the Lord be thankit. "
Springs to mind ! Looks like Tesco's Finest to me, also that the waters of the Sound of Mull allow ideal storage conditions.
Fried or grilled :)
