Spring

The frogs have decided that spring has arrived. 'Kilchoan Early Bird' sent in this picture of frog spawn, and....

....we found these frogs making it in the narrow valley which runs northeast-southwest along the side of Beinn nan Ord, when we walked up that way yesterday.

While it's been freezing down south in England we've been enjoying a mild spell, with the night-time temperatures not dropping below about 3C; and, during the day, we've seen occasional glimpses of the sun. Yet it's not half way through February.

Perhaps the weather is lulling us into a false sense of security.
