
There was some sunshine around today, though this particular specimen stayed firmly over Bloody Bay on Mull and didn't venture this side of the Sound.

As if to make up for it, a sea eagle flew across from its home on Mull and, when The Diary rushed out to try to get a picture, joined another eagle soaring over
Druim na Gearr Leacainn, the ridge at the back of Ormsaigbeg. Three of our resident buzzards climbed to patrol above them, while a kestrel ignored all the excitement to concentrate on catching mice.
