So far, the current Exercise Joint Warrior has largely passed us by. We've seen some fighter 'planes and a couple of RAF trainers, a few helicopters and some support ships, but this is the first warship to pass through the Sound, although others have been seen along the horizon off the north coast.
She's seen at eight this morning, shortly after she passed Rubha nan Gall lighthouse near Tobermory. The fishing boat is the Emma-Maria, one of Kilchoan's two creel boats.
M112, HMS Shoreham, a Sandown Class minehunter, is an old friend in these waters.
