Intership's new 70m long well boat, the Inter Caledonia, is seen here sailing up the Sound of Mull today following her naming ceremony in Fort William on 9th April. The vessel is on a five year charter to Marine Harvest.
As well as having a large fish-holding capacity, some 2,000 cubic metres, she is the first well boat able to produce enough fresh water - up to 200 cubic metres per hour - to fill her tanks, enabling salmon to be treated in fresh water against amoebic gill disease and pests like sea lice.
There's more about her here.
