Shannon Kimberly

The scallop dredger Shannon Kimberly, RY 169, spent all yesterday motoring back and forth across the front of Kilchoan Bay from Glas Eilean to the end of Ormsaigbeg, at times close inshore.

At one point, around lunchtime, she came to a sudden stop under the Ormsaigbeg cliffs, perhaps because she had fouled her gear on a rock.

The Shannon Kimberly is registered in Ramsey, Isle of Man.

    1. MPA - Marine Protected Area. I think the Sound of Mull may become an MPA, but the government has gone back to consulting. Jon
