Many thanks to Malcolm Appleby for sending me a link to this picture of the cruise ship Le Boréal which, as readers may remember, suffered a fire off the Falklands back in November. Trevor Potts, who runs the Ardnamurchan Campsite, took part in the rescue - see blog post here - which involved 347 passengers and crew. The ship had been disabled by an engine room fire and left drifting in a northwesterly gale.
Le Boréal has been lifted onto the Chinese dock ship Kang Sheng Kou to be taken to a European yard for repair.
