A Recycling Problem

Like many others who are taking seriously the opportunity to recycle our plastic now that the service is available, we took some plastic to the recycling point yesterday to find that the latest skip is for 'waste paper only'.

However, when I contacted the very helpful staff at Highland Council's Community Services section - here - they wrote back immediately to say, "Yes, this skip takes all the same things as the old skip. We are in the process of getting the stickers onto the banks to show all the materials so this will be done in the next few days. The skips move around quite a lot so that’s why it will take a bit of time to get this done. We are also planning to get the skips repainted to look a bit nicer but this again will take some time."
