Sparrowhawk Comes to a Sudden Stop

Many thanks to Les Humphreys for this fine picture of his local sparrowhawk which is probably, like ours, particularly active at this time of year harassing the small birds.  But this one's activities came to a brief halt. Les writes, "It's normally seen dashing through the garden at great speed, but was recomposing itself after flying into the window."
