Submarine

A submarine passed south down the Sound of Mull shortly after one o'clock this afternoon with a strong southwesterly behind her - she's shown passing Ardmore Point light.  As would be expected, she was unmarked, and didn't appear on the AIS.  Has anyone any idea what she might be?

  2. Hi Andrew - Many thanks for the identification. I've just looked at some photos of Ula class submarines on Google, and they have the 'indent' at the back of the conning tower as seen in this photo. Jon

  3. Underwater all the way from Norway then surface in the Sound just to see Hughie's pigs. Famous or what!
