Layers

Early morning mist and the low angle of the sun pick out the layers of hills on Morvern.  The view looks across the mouth of Loch Sunart, with the entrance to Loch Teacuis just visible to the right of the dark, low-lying island of Carna.

  2. Further north, there was a view which often appeared like this in the right light conditions so we called (at all times) the hills "the cardboard cutouts" - I hadn't thought about that for the thick end 40 years until this photo brought it back to me!
