It seems fitting that, as contractors dig up Pier Road to lay a fibre-optic cable for our superfast internet connection, local holiday firm Steading Holidays have launched a new website which is mobile and tablet friendly, and allows instant online booking, payment options and availability search.  Amongst over twenty Ardnamurchan properties on their books, they include this one, Rudh Dudh, near Portuairk.

Modern technology may be a wonderful thing but, as Steading Holidays' Jacqui Chapple insists, "We still enjoy hearing from our clients and are always there at the end of the phone for any queries or if they just prefer the more personal touch when making a booking."

So perhaps the days of the trusty red phone box aren’t numbered quite yet.
