It seems that everyone on the north coast of Ardnamurchan was out with their camera taking photographs of last night's sunset.
These pictures come from Ritchie Dinnes, who lives in the small township of Kilmory....
....where the sun sets at this time of year at the western end of Rum.
Ritchie's beautiful photos remind me of a few years ago when we went sunset chasing not too far from where he and Liz now live. The sun went down in a blaze of glory, leaving behind what looked like a molten mushroom cloud over the Western Isles and I remember asking why anyone would want to nuke Benbecula ... Later on, my daughter Anna did a fantastic painting of it which is now hanging in her kitchen to remind her of her beloved Ardnamurchan.
