Playpark Progress

Work started yesterday on the new Kilchoan Playpark. A local team is doing all the groundwork before the company which is supplying the playpark moves in to instal the equipment.

The weather was perfect....

.....the machines - and the operators - were impressive....

....and the speed at which things progressed spectacular. It's expected that most of this stage will be completed by the end of the weekend.

Well done the team - and those we have been supporting them with food and drink behind the scenes.

Many thanks to Stewart Pote for the pictures.

  1. Well done to the team but I hope they will be filling in the huge holes left down near the pier otherwise there might be a call out to the coastguard to rescue some of Ardnamurchan Estate calves if they fall in.

    1. I'm sure the calves will be fine but you can sleep easy knowing that the people involved in the play park are also in the coast guard! You could always come and help with the play park and ensure those calves are kept safe! We'll be working most weekends through out the summer so come and say hi.

  3. Well done to all who have spent the last 3 days working at the Adventure Playground site, and as for the HUGE HOLES seemingly left near the pier not sure what this is suppossed to mean

  4. Great work. I am enjoying watching the on going progress,
on our future play park, that western Ardnamurchan can enjoy for generations to come. We are luckily to have so many community spirited people, helping with the work, and preparing food and drink for everyone.
