Three Lochs in the Sunshine

This morning we drove to the south of Loch Mudle, arriving as the last of the overnight mist was still lying across the water, and then walked eastwards through crisp, frosty grass....

....passing Lochan na Gruagaich, a small circular lochan tucked into the forestry, and the much larger....

....Lochan Mhadaidh Riabhaich, before....

....climbing the hill away from it, stopping for a brief rest, and finally....

....returning to Loch Mudle.

  1. Beautiful tree reflections.
After inspection of the OS map of this area, there appear to be a further 15 (at least) lochs and lockans hidden away within the forestry. Have they all received a tick from the Diary?

  2. Hi Derek - We don't enjoy walking in close woodland, so many of them have not been visited. Hopefully, we'll get round to them one day. Jon
