Many thanks to Brian Culcheth for sending the Diary these pictures of his recent ascent of Ben Laga in the company of local photographer Michael Macgregor and Archie.
This picture looks eastwards up Loch Sunart, with Ben Resipole in the distance....
....while this one looks in almost the opposite direction, westwards down Loch Sunart. To the left is Morvern, with the Isle of Mull beyond it, and to the right is the west end of the Ardnamurchan peninsula, the highest point being Ben Hiant.
