A History of Swordle
The Diary offers its latest attempt at a history of one of the local townships, Swordle, on the north coast of the peninsula. The publication of the short history coincides with the upcoming return of the archaeologists of the Ardnamurchan Transitions Project whose work has been based at Swordle since 2006 - full details of their schedule this summer, which offers even more public participation than previous years, is here.
The histories are to be found in the right-hand column of the blog - and there's a link to the Swordle one here. As always, comments on any of the histories would be much appreciated.
