September Rainbows

By four this afternoon, with the wind easing and moving round into the northwest, the sky had cleared and for a few minutes we basked in brilliant sunshine....

.....before the weather changed again, the wind rising and chasing in heavy, squally showers off the Atlantic.

This is real September weather, the time of year for spectacular rainbows to burn across the sky.
