Approaching Storm

The eight o'clock ferry sailing from Kilchoan to Tobermory is very likely to be the last of the day. The school children going across to Tobermory were advised not to travel. One intrepid passenger, when half way across, wrote, "The ferry's making noises like the Titanic and the waves are coming in through the doors. I want to get off now!!!"

Although the winds are pretty fierce already, and we've had 5mm of rain in the last hour, the forecast has changed considerably overnight. For this area, the strongest winds are now predicted for tomorrow morning, and they're much lighter than we were expecting.
