A Day in Ormsaigbeg

There are days when Ormsaigbeg is a very exciting place to live, and today was just such a day. It started with a traffic jam along the end of the road as the Dutch film crew, who were filming up at Coilum, were caught behind some cows which had escaped from their field.

We spent some time watching this fine specimen of grey-face sheep. It looked sort of half-dressed, winter gear at the back and stripped down for summer at the front.

If you ever wondered what those creel fishermen are catching while they spend their long hours at sea, now you know. This shot was taken down at the slipway by The Ferry Stores this morning. And we all thought they were out after prawns.
