Slime Mould?

Has anyone any idea what this is? It was found sitting on a cushion of sphagnum moss in the hills above Ormsaigbeg. It's about 20mm in length.

    Many thanks to Paul Elletson for getting an identification for this slime mould, Tubifera ferruginosa.
