Dominic Cooper on the north coast reports that the strongest gust in yesterday's storm came at 5.30 in the afternoon, with the wind hitting 82mph - that's hurricane force 12. He also says that we've had 210mm rain in the last seven days, and a total of 1,645mm this year so far. Our rain gauge registered 31mm yesterday alone.
