Chris Mather stayed at Fascadale last week and sends us these pictures. He says, "Despite and although the wet and windy weather meant the wildlife didn't come out as often as it has in past visits we still managed a couple of lucky encounters.
"The buzzard was seen near the Sonachan Hotel and was kind enough to hover fairly low so we could take pictures.
"This seal was spotted just off the jetty at Kilchoan. We saw him/her swimming amongst the seaweed and....
'....he then swam over to us. With the water being so clear we managed to get these shots.
"I didn't need to call on my seal training skills on this occasion, but sadly my otter training skills weren't up to much this year as it was the first time in a few years that I didn't managed to spot any of them."
