Many thanks to Kilchoan Early Bird for these pictures which give an idea of how changeable the weather is at present, and of how beautiful Ardnamurchan's landscapes are, even when the clouds slide across the sun.
In the sunny spells the colours in the hills are stunning, particularly when they have a rainbow for a backdrop.
The temperatures may have begun to fall but, as far as spaniels are concerned, it's never a bad time for a swim.
Those dogs will probably have more luck finding a trout in that loch than I did this summer.
