'Lord of the Glens'

We sometimes see the Lord of the Glens passing us in the Sound of Mull.  She's a cruise ship carrying up to 54 passengers, and she's unusual....

....in that she is slim enough to squeeze her way through the locks on the Caledonian Canal. Anne Jackson photographed her the other day as she passed through the Laggan locks at the north end of Loch Lochy.

So, as well as visiting places like Tobermory, passengers can enjoy a trip through the canal to Loch Ness and Inverness.

There's more about the Lord of the Glens here.

Many thanks to Anne for the photos.
