A Great Berry Crop

The rowans are heavy with berries this year, which is said to be the sign of a hard winter to come, and....

....there's a fine crop of berries on the brambles, which has brought people out along the Ormsaigbeg road to collect them.

In our vegetable garden, the raspberries have excelled themselves, though we're not sure whether this is because of the weather or the dressing of seaweed they received early in the season.  So we've been out picking them....

....a process which does have some hazards, in the form of ticks.  This one managed to crawl all the way up inside the Diary's sleeve before attaching itself.
