Shooting Star

Last night a 'monster' of a shooting star was seen by Titch MacLachan and Morven MacPhail. They were out at the Lighthouse when, around 9.30, a ball of fire appeared in the northwest, travelled right across the sky, and went on over Mull.

The phenomenon was seen over much of the UK - Telegraph report here.

  1. I've spent ages reading your blog tonight and there is still so much of it that I haven't seen yet. Thank you for all of the information you have gathered together. I haven't beeen to Kilchoan before. We did intend to visit a couple of years ago while we were staying in Drimnin but there was so much to see and do there, that we never gat around to Kilchoan. It is definitely on a future visit list. Thanks again. Avis (Sunderland, NE England)
