Achnaha Business Gains National Recognition

Back in January 2010, here, The Diary highlighted the village of Achnaha as being a hub of commercial activity at this end of the peninsula. Now, one of those businesses has gained national recognition in an article in the Your Money section of The Daily Express.

Judy and Stewart Pote's Over the Garden Wall goes to prove how a very small business can be run from a very remote place like Achnaha with resounding success. As the article points out, they have relied on an excellent postal service and good broadband connections to do the work for them.
